Fleetwood Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1793 was working on their patch, Courageous and Strong, as the girls learned about what it means to be a soldier and to be brave. The troop meeting fell coincidentally on Veteranís Day and everyone was excited to come dressed in Red, White, Blue or Camo!

The girls made ornaments from their hand prints and created Ďsnowmení out of them. The girls collected items that could be sent to the troops and they worked together with cub scouts. The items were collected for a local father who lives in Blandon. His wife and three school aged children will be without him this holiday season; he is deployed in Kuwait right now. Each girl also wrote a card, thank you or some kind of note or drawing to send along as well.
