Woman charged with computer crimes and theft

The Hamburg Borough Police report that Breann Lauren Kissinger, 23, from the Hamburg area, was charged with Unlawful Use of Computer and Other Computer Crimes, Theft by Deception, Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, and Receiving Stolen Property. These charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred between May 12 and June 24 in the 500 Block of State Street in Hamburg.

No injuries in accident with deer on Route 61

The Hamburg Borough Police report that a Reportable Traffic Accident occurred on Oct. 27 at approx. 5a.m. on Route 61 in Hamburg. Jarred L. Lutz, 30, from Schuylkill Haven, was traveling south on Route 61 when a deer ran into his vehicle causing damage to the front left panel of the vehicle. Lutz did have his seat belt on and he reported no injuries. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

Man charged with DUI in Hamburg

The Hamburg Borough Police report that Cory D. Brodhead, 28, from Hamburg, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance. This stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on Nov. 10 at approx. 2:46a.m. on Route 61.

Injuries in vehicle accident in Hamburg

The Hamburg Borough Police report that a Reportable Traffic Accident occurred on Nov. 10 at approx. 7:17p.m. on Route 61 in the intersection of Route 61 & Grand Street in Hamburg. David H. Reidenhour, 48, from Hamburg, was traveling south on Route 61 and was in the process of making a left hand turn onto Grand Street thru a yellow light. Tara M. Hafer, 31, from Shillington, was traveling north on Route 61 and had entered the intersection while the traffic light was yellow to continue to travel north on Route 61. Hafer’s vehicle struck Reidenhour’s vehicle on the passenger side. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Hafer and her passenger were both transported to the Reading Hospital by Hamburg EMS with injuries. All parties had their seat belts on.

Accident on Route 61 in Hamburg with unknown injuries

The Hamburg Borough Police report that a Reportable Traffic Accident occurred on Nov. 11 at approx. 6:15a.m. on Route 61 in Hamburg. Greg Blessing, 60, from Reading, was making a left hand turn out of the Hess Gas Station to go north on Route 61. Grace A. Stewart, 18, from the Hamburg area, was traveling south on Route 61 in the driving lane. The front of Stewart’s vehicle struck Blessing’s vehicle in the left front fender and door. Stewart was transported to the Hospital by Muhlenberg EMS with unknown injuries. Both drivers had their seat belts on. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
