Truck strikes two parked vehicles

The Hamburg Borough Police report that a Reportable Traffic Accident occurred on Nov. 12 at approx. 12:45p.m. in the 200 block of South 4th Street in Hamburg. Gerald W. Gill, 55, from Klingerstown, driving a tractor trailer, was traveling north on South 4th Street, when he moved to the right, getting to close to the parked vehicles, and struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Kyle Struck, of Arlington. Gill’s vehicle continued to travel north and then struck another legally parked vehicle owned by John and Susan Dunkelberger of Hamburg. Dunkelberger’s vehicle was pushed up over the curb, then hit a Borough sign and post, then continued and struck a house. All three vehicles were towed from the scene. Gill had his seat belt on, and no injuries were reported at the scene.

Juvenile from Hamburg admitted to Juvenile Detention Center

The Hamburg Borough Police report that a 14-year-old male juvenile from Hamburg was admitted to a Juvenile Detention Center for Aggravated Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct. These charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred on Nov. 15 at the Hamburg Area High School on Windsor Street.

Man cited for Disorderly Conduct

The Hamburg Borough Police report that Todd Bond Pike, 44, from Hamburg, was cited for Disorderly Conduct. This stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on Nov. 28 at approx. 9:30pm in the first block of South 4th Street in Hamburg.
