Snow emergencies, updates

The following snow emergencies have been declared:

Boyertown has declared a snow emergency.

Mayor Joseph Peterson has declared a snow emergency in Birdsboro effective Monday from at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Residents should remove their vehicles from snow emergency routes during this time period.

Council President Kenneth Templin announced the cancellation of the Borough Council Meeting, scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. The next meeting of Birdsboro Borough Council is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m.



The following roads have reduced speed limits of 45 MPH, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Monday morning:

Interstates 76, 95, 476, 676; U.S. routes 1, 30, 202, 422; and state routes 63, 100 Spur and 309.


The Boyertown Library is closed today.
