Jeanette gave the Rotarians a lesson on the history of Stephen Foster and the music he wrote, songs like My Old Kentucky Home. Jeanette had an old song book used in the school which she is holding and cherishes, America Sings. She had many childhood memories of this song book which is tattered and torn from the many years of use. Brought back many memories of the songs of days gone by.
