Fleetwood Daisy Girl Scout Troop 1793 recently hosted a Pajama Themed Party at their meeting. The girls focused on being friendly and helpful to each other and discussed what it meant to be friendly and helpful to others. The girls also practiced being a sister to every Girl Scout.
The girls in the troop (with their parents’ permission ahead of time) were paired up with each other to paint each others finger nails. Troop Leader, Kristin Santangelo, purposely paired up one girl with another girl based on who-knew-who-the-least so the girls would get to know each other better and to encourage the girls to have conversations with their partners. After the nail painting and drying, the girls each made friendship bracelets and they gave the bracelet that they made to the girl who painted their nails as a ‘Friendship Gift’.
