Theft at PA Dutch Campground

Pennsylvania State Police report that unknown person(s) arrived at PA Dutch Campground, 136 Campsite Rd. in Upper Tulpehocken Twp. sometime between Jan. 9 and 30 and proceeded to removed two 4 and a half gallon propane tanks from the front of a camper belonging to Jamie Allan Woish, 38, of Reading. The person(s) then fled the scene undetected. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Hamburg.

DUI in Centerport

Pennsylvania State Police report that Brandon Cole Reis, 28, of Centerport, was stopped for traffic violations on Feb. 8 at 2:12 a.m. in the 700 block of Main St. in Centre Twp. He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Investigation continues.

DUI crash in Bethel Twp.

Pennsylvania State Police report that Thomas Keith Kline, 27, of Annville, was driving a 2003 Huyndai Sonata on Deck Dr. in Bethel Twp. on Feb. 9 at 2:03 a.m. While traveling north on Deck Dr. he failed to negotiate a right turn onto School Rd. The vehicle entered the northwest corner of the intersection and exited the east side of Deck Dr. it then struck a “No Outlet” sign and became disabled in the snow in a ditch. Kline had one passenger and no one was injured. Kline was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Investigation continues.
