Legion News Kutztown American Legion honors Robert Geist

For 60 years, Robert Geist has been a member of the Kutztown American Legion Post 480. Beginning his service as an officer, Robert Geist served as Treasurer for 3 years, then took on the challenging office of Post Adjutant. For over 28 years, Geist served as the Posts Adjutant, stepping down just recently.

At the American Legion Post 480s February meeting, Commander Hoare awarded a surprised Geist with a commemorative plaque honoring his service. All Post 480 members wish Robert a well-deserved retirement from his position as Post Adjutant. Thank you for your service to your country and the American Legion, Robert.
