Thanks to an anonymous sponsor, this week ‘Son of God’ is showing for free at the historic State Theatre of Boyertown.
Touched by the movie and the life of Jesus, the Boyertown resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, is helping to pay the rental fees for the movie. Those coming to see the movie may also give a donation to help defray the costs of showing the film by contributing to the donation jar in the theatre.
This major motion picture event is an experience created to be shared among families and communities across the United States. It brings the story of Jesus’ life to audiences through compelling cinematic storytelling that is both powerful and inspirational. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score. The film spans from Jesus’ humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection.

Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m.
Good Friday, April 18 at 7p.m.
Easter Sunday, April 20 at 7p.m.
