Berks County Parks and Recreation to host a ’40+ Beginners EZ Yoga and Nature Walk’ June 12

The Berks County Parks and Recreation will host a ’40+ Beginners EZ Yoga and Nature Walk’ 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at the Berks County Heritage Center.

Yoga connects the mind and body, and with this program participants can connect with nature too!

‘Standing Mountain’ ‘The Thunderbolt’ and ‘Stargazer’ are just some of the easy poses that ‘Porcupine Pat’ McKinney of the Schuylkill Conservation District will guide you through while walking along the Tulpehocken Creek.

‘Porcupine Pat’ has been practicing yoga for close to 40 years. He assures everyone yoga is easy and fun and it can make its way into the daily routine of people of all ages.

We request that participants dress in comfortable clothing and shoes. No experience is necessary. Program is for ages 40+.
