Area firefighters were dispatched at 1:39 p.m. Sunday afternoon for the report of a garage fire at 8th and Cherry Streets in Bally Borough, Berks County.
Fire units dispatched were all three Eastern Berks Stations (Bally, Barto, Bechtelsville), Hereford, New Berlinville, Boyertown, and Pennsburg, along with Bally Ambulance.
Lines were pulled from Eastern Berks and Hereford apparatus, with crews assisting from other departments in the warm afternoon heat.
All units available within 90 minutes. No injuries were reported.
