Man arrested for taking funds from VFW

The Hamburg Borough Police report that Richard A. Spatz, 50, from Hamburg, was arrested for Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds, Receiving Stolen Property, and Access Device Fraud. This stems from numerous incidents that occurred between July 22, 2012 and July 23, 2013, where Spatz allegedly took funds that did not belong to him from the Hamburg VFW Post #216 on South 4th Street in Hamburg.
