Reading Symphony Orchestra hires Jon P. Mosbo as Executive Director

The Reading Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the hiring of Jon P. Mosbo as the new Executive Director of the Reading Symphony Orchestra. As Executive Director, Mosbo will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the Reading Symphony Orchestra.

Jon has thirty years of experience as a professional musician (viola), and began his career in management with the Savannah Symphony Orchestra. Before coming to Reading, Jon served as both Operations and Orchestra Manager of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Production Manager of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Executive Director of the Binghamton Philharmonic, and General Manager of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Jon brings a wealth of experience, ideas and energy to his position as Executive Director, and is very much looking forward to working with everyone in the greater RSO family to continue the growth and further the mission of the Reading Symphony Orchestra.
