The Perry Elementary PTO community playground build is just days away.
We still have opportunities for you to join in and have fun building the playground with us. The community build is this Saturday, July 26.
Please be aware that we currently have a specific need for volunteers around noon. We will be mixing concrete, filling holes with concrete, and moving some stone. The more volunteers we have the easier and quicker it will go. If you can help with this, we would love to see you and your wheel barrow if you have one.
You will be happy to know that should you volunteer we will provide you with more details to ensure you have an enjoyable day. If you decide to volunteer last minute, please make sure you stop at our hospitality tent so we can greet you and ensure your services are utilized.
This will be a fun day filled with smiling, laughing, and probably some tears of joy.
I am very proud to be part of such a wonderful community that cares so very much about our members. This playground is one example of our strength.
Soon we will all be able to pass through Shoemakersville, gaze upon this example of the strength of our community, and watch smiling children playing on this playground.
The Perry Elementary playground represents the generosity of so many individuals, businesses, and organizations.
