Theft in Perry Twp.Pennsylvania State Police report that two suspects arrived at Tom Schaeffer’s RV in the 1200 block of Pottsville Pike in Perry Twp. on July 29 at 10:07 p.m. on the north side of the business and were loading used tires into the rear of a maroon colored Chevrolet pickup truck. Once confronted by a security guard, the suspects fled the scene traveling north on Main St.

The first suspect was described as a white, non-hispanic male approx. 5′ 10′ to 5′ 11′, approx. 160 lbs., very tan complexion and was wearing a fluorescent shirt. The second suspect was described as white, non-hispanic male, thin build, lighter complexion that was wearing a baseball cap and had a beard. Both males were described to be middle-aged.

Theft in Upper Bern Twp.Pennsylvania State Police report that unknown person(s) arrived at a residence in the 200 block of Forge Dam Rd. in Upper Bern Twp. and removed a large metal hanging planter containing super petunias on sometime between July 28 and 29 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The planter was hanging from a post surrounding a horse pasture. The planter was valued at $70.

Harassment in Bethel Twp.Pennsylvania Sate Police Hamburg was dispatched to a domestic dispute at a residence in the 1600 block of Mountain Road in Bethel Twp. on July 26 at 2:32 a.m. It was reported that the victims became involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. While yelling at each other, the 39-year-old female victim approached the 45-year-old male victim and shoved him. The male victim then shoved the female victim to the ground and held her down. The female victim then kicked and struck the male victim until he let her go and they separated. Both were cited with Harassment at District Court.

Theft in Jefferson Twp.Pennsylvania State Police report that unknown person(s) arrived at a the 48-year-old victim’s property on Bernville Rd. in Jefferson Twp. on July 21 between 12:30 and 3 p.m. and removed the following items: an 18 speed mountain bike and a red Craftsman weed whacker.

Charges filed against two Hamburg men for Possession

Pennsylvania State Police report that a traffic stop was initiated on a Jeep Wranger for a registration violation on Main St. at Pennsylvania Ave. in Shoemakersville on July 12 at 4:10 a.m. It was subsequently determined that the accused, Tyler Gust, 27, of Hamburg, who was operating the vehicle was driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The passenger, accused, Austin Grim, 27, of Hamburg, was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and open containers. Charges were filed on both at District Court.
