The Lehigh Valley Hunting & Fishing Extravaganza runs Aug. 23 and 24 at the Kempton Fairgrounds.
The 9th annual outdoor show will offer more activities, more hunting celebrities, and more participant giveaways than ever before.
One new archery event is Big Shot Target’s presentation of the BigShot Hunt Simulator. The BigShot Hunt Simulator is a new video simulator that projects images or videos on to an archery target for archers to practice their shooting skills. The simulator’s unique new design allows archery hunters to bring in their own trail cam pictures and practice on their scouted game. It is also fun for non-hunters, as archers can use images or videos of dinosaurs, zombies, or whatever the imagination holds.
Perhaps archery hunters can relive the hunts of professional hunting celebrity Corey Brossman. Corey Brossman, host of hunting tv series Innerloc’s Get Out There, will be at the Lehigh Valley Hunting & Fishing Extravaganza. He will be on hand to talk to fans about bowfishing, archery, and hunting. After fans meet local hunting legend Corey Brossman, they can meet in person the hunting staff of Primal Instinct hunting show. Primal Instinct hunting crew will be happy to meet their fans and fellow hunters.
The Lehigh Valley Hunting and Fishing Extravanganza has also increased the number of free prizes and giveaways it will offer to its participants. The show will continue to give out door prizes every hour to a lucky winning participant, but will expand the prizes even further. For 2014, the show will be giving free gifts to the first 300 participants compliments of Bowtech Archery, Parker Crossbows, and Carbon Express Arrows. Parker crossbows will also be giving away new Parker Thunderhawk crossbow package to one lucky winner. Prime Archery will also be giving away a brand new compound bow valued at $999.99. Both winner’s names will be drawn on Sunday at Weaknecht Archery’s 3D Archery Target Auction. A Remington 870 youth shotgun and a free Duck Hunt are just a few more great giveaways the Lehigh Valley Hunting and Fishing Extravaganza has to offer.
The Lehigh Valley Hunting and Fishing Extravaganza will continue to hold all the adult and youth events that has made the show such a success over the past years. Events include Weaknecht Archery’s 50 Target Bow Fair Shoot, a 50 target sporting clay course, and archery novelty shoots. The show will continue to give youth the chance to learn shooting instruction, shooting safety and experience outdoor sports. This includes the free video shooting simulators to teach safe hunting and shooting, the free trout fishing area, free tomahawk throw, free bb gun shoot, and more. Youth involvement is the huge focus of the Lehigh Valley Hunting and Fishing Extravaganza. The Outdoor Flea Market will held on Saturday.
