The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce’s (TCACC) voluntary leadership changed at the beginning of the Chamber’s 2014-2015 fiscal year on July 1.
Heather Chandler, President, Sealstrip Corporation, is the Chamber’s new Chairman of the Board and will serve in that capacity for two years. Rod Martin, owner, Martin Stone Quarries, Inc., served the previous two years and will now serve as the Immediate Past Chairman.
Chandler has served four years on the executive committee of the board, first as Treasurer, and then as Chair-Elect. She has worked in the tri-county area for 28 years and has been with Sealstrip since 1992. In addition to President, she has held various titles at Sealstrip including Executive Vice President, General Manager, Sales Manager and Project Coordinator. She has a bachelor’s degree in education, master’s degree in Business Management from Penn State and a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University. Chandler grew up in Boyertown and worked at her parents’ bakery, Annie’s Fancy Cakes, from age 8 to 14.
During Martin’s leadership, the Chamber had many accomplishments that it is proud of. The Chamber will be releasing its Annual Report highlighting these achievements later this summer.
The Chamber would like to thank Rod for his commitment and time as Chairman, and congratulates Heather on her new leadership role. We look forward to the goals we will accomplish in 2014-2015.
