Burglary and car thefts reported in Alsace and Pike Townships

THEFT

In the commission of a burglary, an unknown person gained entry into a Pike Township residence through an unlocked front door between Aug. 16 and Aug. 21. A hunting cross-bow and acoustic guitar were removed from the residence. The person then fled in an unknown direction. THEFTS FROM MOTOR VEHICLES

Between the dates of Aug. 20 and 21, items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence along Simmons Road. On Aug. 20 at approximately 11 p.m., items were stolen from the vehicle parked at a residence along Oley Road in Alsace Township. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-378-4011. Trooper Benjamin Toth is the investigating officer for both incidences.
