Krista’s StoryAt two years of age, Krista was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. She underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. The cancer went into remission, but she suffered from the effects of the treatment all through her life. Still, she graduated from Governor Mifflin High School and started course at Reading area Community College for child care. Her courage and determination were an inspiration to her friends and family. The cancer returned when she was twenty, and she lost her battle two days after her 22nd birthday. The fund was established in her memory.
