Local solid waste and recycling company, J.P. Mascaro & Sons has been awarded a new three year contract to serve Hamburg Borough, Berks County. The contract started Sept. 2 and covers removal of waste and recyclables for all residents at a cost of $1.1 million.
Services are provided by Mascaro’s Berks County division, which employs about 100 personnel. This facility is the base operation for 50 collection vehicles, which serve counties, including, Berks, Chester, Montgomery and Schuylkill Counties, which all benefit from well-organized daily collection services.
