The Blazer Foundation’s Executive Director, Stephanie Conlon, recently accepted a $2,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation from Kim Hippert-Eversgerd, Commercial Relationship Manager of Susquehanna Bank, to benefit the Daniel Boone School Districts ongoing EITC approved programs.

For the second consecutive year, the Blazer Foundation has been approved as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Approval for this program, which allows qualified Pennsylvania businesses to receive tax credits in exchange for a donation, helps fund innovative programs to the students of the Daniel Boone School District, kindergarten through 12th grade.

During the 2013-2014 school year, EITC donations to the Blazer Foundation were allocated to purchase equipment to launch the Blazer Television Studio at the Daniel Boone High School.
