Happily Ever After Play and Party Palace (www.HappilyEA.com) at 10 Tranquility Lane in Green Hills (Reading), is hosting a Superhero and Super Princess event on Oct 5th from noon – 4 p.m. as a charity benefit for the Olivet Boys and Girls Club of Reading. The event features games, crafts, and activities centered on favorite Superheroes and Princesses. Best of all, there will be a meet and greet with some favorite children’s characters including Spiderman, Elsa (from ‘Frozen’), Tinkerbelle, and Pirate Captain Jack. ‘It’s all about being a hero,’ Kathy Lavanga, owner of Happily Ever After, said. ‘Kids need heroes to look up to, and this event makes every kid a hero themselves just by coming out to supporting Olivet!’

Meet a Hero and get an autograph! Spiderman, Elsa, Tinkerbelle, and other characters will be portrayed by volunteer student actors from Berks Catholic High School to sign autographs, pose for photos and high-five budding little superheroes.

Children will ‘Be a Hero’ with training games and costumed role playing. Children will undergo superhero training such as leaping tall buildings in a single bound, learning super kicks and punches, and games of skill. Kids can also select from Happily Ever After’s vast collection of hero or princess costumes to wear for their photo opp. and enter a drawing to win their very own cape!

Happily Ever After celebrates its 10th anniversary in business by giving back to the community. All proceeds, not just some, but 100 percent of profits from ‘Be a Hero’ Day, will be donated to the Olivet Club. Later in October, Happily Ever After (celebrating 10 years of providing theme party entertainment in Berks County) will be holding its own 10th Birthday Party, and inviting the kids from Olivet as the guests. Proceeds from ‘Be a Hero’ day will go towards birthday gifts for the Olivet Boys and Girls at the party. Happily Ever After hosts children’s birthday parties, showers, and events at their party facility, now in Green Hills, Pa.
