Samuel Moseman, son of Craig and Terrie Moseman, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Sam is a member of Troop 184, sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hamburg. He served in various leadership roles including assistant patrol leader, senior patrol leader and junior assistant scoutmaster.
Sam is a brotherhood member of Kittatinny Lodge Order No. 5, Order of the Arrow.
He participated in various troop activities including the Troop 184 Canada Canoe Trip 2012, Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation Summer Camp, along with many weekend troop campouts.
For his Eagle Scout project, he installed a flag pole for Senator Rhoades at the Memorial Park in Tilden Township.
Sam graduated from Hamburg Area High School in June, was a member of the National Honor Society and was active in the Latin, Chemistry and Wilderness Clubs. He was also a member of the cross country and track teams throughout high school.
Sam is currently attending Boston University to pursue a degree in mathematics.
