On Oct. 17, Roger Jacobs Commander of the American Legion Post 537 was contacted by Roseann Thomas of Morgantown that the Village Library was in need of an American flag. It had torn off during the rain storm the night before.
Within one hour Roger Jacobs presented Sue Shipe with a flag to hang over the library. Roger Jacobs stated the American Legion is always there for our community.
