Painter Edward Hopper once said “If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint.” At Your Claim To Frame’s newest exhibition, “Inspired by … Books,” artists combine words and art to pay tribute to some of their favorite stories. Each artist was given a list of the 100 Greatest Novels Ever Written and asked to choose one to inspire a work of art. Everyone is invited to an opening night reception 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at 170 Sunset Manor Drive in Exeter. The show runs through Saturday, Nov. 29. In addition to the exhibition, they are also collecting new books for adults and children. Books can be dropped off at the opening reception or during regular business hours through Nov. 29. The books will be donated to local libraries and Toys for Tots. Additional information on the exhibit can be found on their Facebook page or by calling (610) 404-4640.
