Freedom Auto Group recently held the “Freedom To Care – Test Drive for Charity” which featured ten chosen non-profit organizations competing to receive donations.
“We, at Freedom Auto Group, believe we are in the Life Improvement Business and this campaign is how we best showcase our commitment to improving the lives of those in our community,” said Carson Kober-Maxurkiewicz, of Freedom Auto Group.
During the time of the campaign, the particular charity received a donation for each test drive taken on behalf of that organization. At the end of the campaign, one test driver was randomly chosen and received a bonus of $2,500 and the test driver’s choice of non-profit organization received a $5,000 donation. The group had almost 1,000 test drives taken during the “Test Drive for Charity.”
Brenda Meyers was chosen as the winning test driver and her chosen charity was Bethany Children’s Home.
The campaign was started by Eric Savage, Dealer Principal at Freedom Auto Group, and was something that he had wanted to do for a few years and this year it finally all came together with the help of Peter Barbey.
“It gives Freedom the opportunity to help our local non-profits spread the word about their organizations and the good that they do,” said Kober-Maxurkiewicz. “Typically, these non-profits do not have large marketing budgets, so with our help, they are reaching a large audience.”
Congratulations to Meyers and to all of the non-profit organizations that benefited from the “Freedom To Care – Test Drive for Charity” campaign.
