On Dec. 13, American Legion Post 537 Morgantown made their annual trip from Morgantown to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to lay wreaths for Wreaths Across America. We rented two buses to take the Boy Scouts and the Legion Members.

“I am so very proud of our members,” said Commander Roger Jacobs. “They battled the cold and donated $6,000 to WAA. Two of our members, Candy Burkhart and Neil Wagner escorted the wreaths by motorcycle, from Maine to Arlington Memorial Cemetery. This was Candy’s first trip and Neil’s 8th trip to escort the wreaths. This is the very least we can do for our soldiers that paid the ultimate price.”
