Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a suspect in the attempted robbery of Square One, in the 00 block of Industrial Dr. in Tilden Twp. that occurred on Dec. 26 at 5:20 a.m.
The unknown person, described as a white male, approximately 5’8″, 160 to 180 pounds, approximately in his mid 20s, entered Square One wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The hood of the sweatshirt was up and pulled tight to cover the majority of the suspects face. He did not appear to have facial hair and spoke with an accent. He approached the cashier and demanded that the cashier empty the cash register drawer. The suspect held out his left arm, but had his left hand contained within the sleeve of his sweatshirt, almost as if he had a weapon.
The cashier said that there was not much money on site and the suspect turned around and ran from the store toward Route 61.
