On the weekend of Jan. 9 and 10, Terre Hill BSA Troop 172 participated in the Conestoga River Klondike event at Camp Mack scout camp.

The troop had 18 scouts (making up three patrols) and 12 adults who spent the weekend sleeping out Friday night with sub-zero wind chills and working through various stations on Saturday to collect enough points for the Ice Breakers to win first place overall (pictured left to right are Austin Mueller, Seth Babb, Kyle Willwerth, Danny Redcay, Austin Weaver and Michael Wenger), along with an award for “Scout Spirit”.

The Blazing Igloos earned 3rd place for their patrol flag, the Iron Penguins earned 3rd place for their sled design, and the troop earned an award for Best Themed Station.

So, overall a great weekend for all participants.
