Tax assistance from AARP Foundation will provide Tax-Aid at the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.
For the sixth year in a row, the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library will host the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program which provides free, volunteer-run tax assistance service to low- and middle- income taxpayers, with special attention to those age 60 and older. Anyone is welcome to make an appointment. Your federal and state returns will be prepared by IRS trained and certified volunteers. Returns are electronically filed.
Last year Chester County volunteers prepared more than 3,000 federal returns.
Join your fellow county residents by making an appointment. Appointments are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. starting February 6. Call the library at 610-321-1710 or stop at the Adult Reference Desk to schedule an appointment.
