Rep. Barry Jozwiak (R-Berks) last week in Harrisburg met Director of the U.S. Marshals Service Stacia Hylton and U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Pennsylvania Martin J. Pane during their visit to the state Capitol. Hylton and Pane were part of a large team – along with other U.S. Marshals, Pennsylvania State Police officers and other law enforcement personnel – who worked together to track down and arrest Eric Frein. The Marshals involved received a House citation honoring their work. Frein hid in the woods for weeks after allegedly killing one Pennsylvania State Police officer and seriously wounding another Pennsylvania State Police Officer in September 2014.
