Doctor Gregory Bach and his wife Debra Bach, of Hamburg, are proud owners of Indy, their champion Rottweiler, and recently at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, Indy was proclaimed as the “best in breed – Rottweiler” judging. Indy on the morning of Feb. 17 was announced as “GCH Gamegards I’LI Have Another V Braeside,” and Grand Champion – (GCH) Gamegards:

DOB: June 8, 2012Breeder: L. Fried & V O’Brien & Weaver & Dr. Bach

Sire: GCH Cammcastle Friar Tuck RN

Dam: GCH Braeside Braemer Von Bach

Trainer: Holly Eldred”Winning is a matter of staying power and competing at the Westminster Dog Show is really about believing and being tenacious. It’s great to be a winner and for me and my wife Debra to have the number one Rottweiler in the country, is something we both felt would happen one day. That day came on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. in the morning.,” said Dr. Bach.

“Mickey Rooney once quipped, ‘You always pass failure on the way to success.’ Well, thanks to Indy, we are all enjoying our respite in success right now. All the close-but-no-ringer times, the extensive effort, hours upon hours of training and our steadfast belief in Indy have paid off. We wanted to share Indy’s newly proclaimed claim to fame with our neighbors in Hamburg and all of Pennsylvania,” Dr. Bach proudly stated.

Dr. Bach and his wife Debra also have another success to tout, their recently published book, “The Bravest Rescue Puppy” – Mascot Books. The internationally-released book is not about Indy interestingly enough, but another Rottweiler, a promiscuous pup named Zena, who became a number one search and rescue dog. It is a true story crafted into family-oriented illustrated book – its underlying credo, “when given lemons, make lemonade.”
