Berks County is searching for the next Berks County Dairy Princess to promote the Dairy Industry for 2015-16.

Any interested girls in becoming the 2015-16 Berks County Dairy Princess must be age 16 by July 1 up to age 24. She must be somehow connected to the dairy industry. For example a daughter or granddaughter to a dairy farmer or someone who works in the dairy industry. She can also work for a dairy farm or own her own dairy cattle. Anyone interested must contact Angela Davis at mdavis114@aol.com or 610-926-6639 by April 10.

The new dairy princess will be crowned by the reigning 2014-15 Berks County Dairy Princess, Ashley Mohn who has promoted the dairy industry in Berks County and beyond. Ashley is also serving as the 2014-15 Pennsylvania Dairy Princess.

There will also be a contest to crown the 2015-16 Berks County Li’l Miss Dairy Princess. All contestants must be between the ages of 4-6. They must also be connected to the dairy industry. The deadline for contestants is also April 10 to mdavis114@aol.com.

The new Li’l Miss Dairy Princess will be crowned by the reigning Li’l Miss, Alyssa Troutman, who has been helping Ashley travel across Berks County this past year promoting the dairy industry.

The Berks County Dairy Princess Pageant will be held on Saturday, May 9 at the Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville, PA starting at 6 p.m. with a milk punch reception.
