Did you or a relative ever work at the Boyertown Burial Casket Company? If so, you’re invited to a reunion. Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care would like to invite former employees and their families to the Boyertown Burial Casket Company reunion on Wednesday, June 17 from 5-7:30 p.m., held at Chestnut Knoll.
Help keep the memories of the casket company alive! Past employees and their families are invited to a reunion to share stories, photos, and memorabilia with fellow co-workers. Entertainment and light refreshments will be provided. Chestnut Knoll will also be collecting memories and reflections from senior retirees of the casket company, which will then be crafted into a series of poems about the manufacturing history in Berks County.
Attendees can also purchase Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ dinners to help support Chestnut Knoll’s Relay for Life fundraiser. Tickets are $8.50 per person and include 1/2 chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and butter. Orders must be paid in advance.
