Friday night of the Morgantown Carnival, June 12, State Senator Judy Schwank (D-Berks) honored Twin Valley School District’s athletic teams that earned appearances in District, State or Tournament play.

Each player on Twin Valley’s High School Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse and girls’ and boys’ track teams, as well as Twin Valley’s Middle School Club Ice Hockey team received certificates of achievement from Schwank.

Twin Valley’s Athletic Director John Guiseppe and each team’s head coach also received certificates.

Members of the Twin Valley’s High School Girls Softball, Girls Track and Field and the Twin Valley’s Middle School Club Ice Hockey team were in attendance at the carnival, but every player from the teams listed below received the certificate.

Baseball – Qualified for Berks County Playoffs, Qualified for the District 3 Playoffs & Qualified for the PIAA State Tournament.

Softball – Berks County Champions, Qualified for the District 3 Playoffs & Qualified for the PIAA State Tournament.

Boys Lacrosse – Qualified for the Berks County Playoffs.

Boys & Girls Track & Field – 18 track athletes qualified for the District 3 Championships & 8 track athletes qualified for the PIAA State Championships.
