Several times a year, in addition to Member Breakfast programs and Making Connections Luncheons, the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce hosts evening mixers for members and guests to socialize and connect with resources in our strong regional business network.
The summer mixer will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Potts’ U Hot Dogs, 100 Constitution Blvd., in downtown Kutztown. Jeremiah and Lori Warsing, Potts’ U owners, held the Kutztown store’s grand opening and Chamber Ribbon Cutting in September 2014-this new location is one of nine, and the family-owned business originated in Bethlehem.
A special meal deal to include two hot dogs or one pork barbecue, a side, and a beverage will offered during the two hours. Pop’s Malt Shoppe, a local favorite since 2004, will be on site with ice cream cones sold for dessert. Children and all family members are invited to attend this family-friendly Chamber mixer. Everyone who makes a food and ice cream purchase that night will receive a free ticket to the Reading Fightin’ Phils for the Northeast Berks Chamber Day on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Game time is 5:05 at FirstEnergy Stadium.
The Chamber’s mission is to strengthen the business community in the Northeast Berks Region, also known as the East Penn Valley. The Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, which was established in 1989, consists of nearly 250 individual members, including large and small businesses, institutions of learning, financial institutions, medical professionals, attorneys, engineers, retailers, telecommunication companies, individuals, social service organizations, and civic organizations.
