Master Kurt G. Miller, owner of Master Kim’s Black Belt Academy in Bechtelsville, will be presenting a free self-defense seminar on Friday, Aug. 14, at 6:30 p.m.

This is open to the public. No martial arts experience is necessary to be able to participate, but you must be 18 years of age or older.

This free community service seminar does not involve a physical work out. Nor do you need to be in good physical condition to be able to participate. Master Miller will teach you how to be safe while you are going about your daily activities. You will also learn how to ward off unwanted intruders by creating a verbal boundary and using a defensive posture if you find yourself in a difficult situation.

There will also be a question and answer period to address any questions or concerns that our guests may want to ask.

This is an opportunity for you and your loved ones to learn a skill that may one day save a life. In today’s world, it is good to arm yourself with tools to stay one step ahead of the people who would do you harm.

For more information and to register ahead of time, call Master Kim’s at 610-367-1641or email The Academy at <masterkimsbba@aol.com>.
