This Saturday, Aug. 22, is the Great Swamp Picnic.
The swamp picnic is a 100+ year tradition, it’s an annual gathering and homecoming for members of NHELC, as well the community at large. It is an afternoon and evening of fun with something for everyone.
The picnic is held in the picnic grove on Swamp Pike Road (between Rt 663 and Lutheran Road). The fun begins at 3:30 p.m. with games for the children. Food will be served from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Entertainment from 6-8 p.m. will feature the Boyertown Alumni Band.
During the picnic the Mission Service Task Force will be holding a yard sale.
Come join us for lots of fun and good homemade food – all are welcome!
