Blake Druzba, 26, of Hamburg, has been charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct, harassment and reckless driving as a result of an incident that occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 2.

According to State Police Hamburg, a Kersnville Dam Recreation Area volunteer observed Druzba driving a 1993 Susuki Sidekick at an excessive speed through a pedestrian crossing and doing donuts in a parking area. The volunteer confronted Druzba, asking him to stop his behavior.

Druzba, age 26, 6 feet three inches tall and weighing 260 pounds, got out of his vehicle and proceeded to physically assault the smaller 57-year-old volunteer by pushing him to the ground, putting him in a rear choke hold while punching him in the face. Druzba released his hold on the volunteer, did a mule kick to the victim’s groin and left the scene.
