The Farmer for a Day Tent will be set up and available for the young attendees throughout the weekend at the Oley Community Fair.

The exhibit is designed as a fun interactive for children and gives a sneak pick into the ways of agriculture.

Children will have the chance to pet and hold live chicks and rabbits, as well as picking apples, finding eggs and potatoes.

Farmer for a Day is organized by Oley Vally FFA students.

Four FFA students who display leadership regarding the FFA Farmer for a Day exhibit will be awarded the Ralph E. and Mabel D. Baus Memorial Award.

This award will be presented at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The Oley Fair concludes Saturday night, Sept. 19.
