The Heritage of Green Hills, a healthy living community in Shillington, held its third annual golf outing earlier this summer at Flying Hills Golf Club in Shillington.

The event raised $6,000 for The Heritage Benefit Fund, which was created to assist Heritage residents who may have outlived their resources and to serve the needs of the Berks County community.

The format for the outing was a four-player scramble. The winning team with the lowest score was the foursome of Jim Della Guardia from Exton; Birdsboro resident Elizabeth Proffitt, sales and marketing director for The Heritage; Charles Buchter from Reading; and Tony Petro from Exeter Township.
