On Sept. 23 at approximately 7:57 p.m., the Fleetwood Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Kutztown Road (SR 222) and Moselem Springs Road (SR 662) for mail in the roadway. Upon arrival, numerous pieces of mail were observed to be scattered on the roadway.

Fire police, along with Walnuttown Fire Company and Virginville Fire Company, responded to the scene and assisted with collecting the mail from the roadway. The roadway was closed for approximately 15 minutes while the mail was collected.

The U.S. Postal Service was notified, and the mail was transported to Fleetwood Police Department and turned over to the custody of the U.S. Postal Service.
