There has been a proposal presented to Borough Council by the Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust to permanently close the section of Third Street between Chestnut Street and Pear Street. This would be to allow the trains to be maintained in a convenient and safe manner.
This request will be discussed at the ‘Police and Public Safety’ Committee Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the lower level of Borough Hall and is open to the public.
The Police and Public Safety Committee of Borough Council encourage the community to attend the meeting and offer their comments.
