On Wednesday, Sept. 30, State Police of Reading received a report of a sexual assault involving a 2-year-old male victim. The assault occurred in Oley Township, Berks County.
According to poilice, a witness saw the accused, 26-year-old Timothy Alan Lawler, sexually assaulting the victim.
Lawler later admitted to the sexual assault. He has been charged with rape and related offense. He was taken into custody on Sept. 30 and was transported to Berks County Central Booking for processing.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week.
