On Monday, Oct. 5 at approximately 8:25 a.m., New Holland Police took a report about a theft from a motor vehicle that had occurred sometime over the weekend in the 400 block of West Cedar Street in New Holland.
The victim reported that several items were taken from a work van between 6 p.m. on Friday and 6:45 a.m. on Monday. Among the items taken were a heat gun, tool bag, miscellaneous tools, a bill box and $425 in cash.

On Oct. 6 at approximately 2:16 p.m., New Holland Police were dispatched for a vehicle crash at the 600 block of North Railroad Avenue. Police arrived and found a vehicle that had struck a telephone pole and the flipped over, landing on its roof.
The driver, Elizabeth Supulski, 19, of Ephrata, was assessed by EMS at the scene but was not taken to the hospital.
A glass pipe containing marijuana had fallen out of the vehicle when it flipped over. New Holland Police are charging Supulski with Careless Driving, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
New Holland Police were assisted on scene by New Holland Ambulance and Garden Spot Fire Rescue.
