The Oley Valley Community Education Foundation is sponsoring the 4th Annual Dr. Jeffrey F. Zackon 5K Memorial Run and Walk, which is set to take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Registration for the race starts at 8 A. M., with the 5K to follow at 9 A. M. The starting point of the race is the parking lot of Oley Valley High School. Participants should enter the lot from Lynx Drive. The 5K course proceeds from Jefferson Street through downtown Oley and the surrounding countryside, ending at the high school parking lot.
The early registration entry fee is $20 ($10 for participants under the age of 19); early registration must be postmarked or completed online by September 30. Entrants who submit their registration by September 30 will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. The fee for registrations postmarked or online after September 30 is $25 ($10 for participants under the age of 19).
