The Optimist Club Of Kutztown, in cooperation with the Kutztown Grange, will host the Annual Senior Citizen’s Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 6. It will be held at the Grange Hall at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. There will be entertainment and awards after dinner.
All senior citizens age 75 and older and residing within the Borough of Kutztown are invited to attend free of charge. Those who attended last year’s dinner will receive a call from the Optimist Club.
Kutztown residents who have reached 75 and have never attended the dinner, but desire to do so, should contact Andy Schlegel at 610-683-3743 before Nov. 23. Senior citizens may bring guests who are not age 75 or do not live in the Borough of Kutztown. However, these guests will be asked to pay for their meals.
The Optimist Club will provide transportation to and from the dinner upon request.
