State Police at the Hamburg station have reported the death of Jacob Marburger, 19, of Maryland. Marburger committed suicide on Nov. 21. The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 3:51 p.m.
Marburger was being sought by Chestertown Police Department in Maryland.
He was found in a picnic area in the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, in Albany Township, Berks County, along with the green Land Rover that he was believed to be operating. Marburger died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
