Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced that three new Assistant District Attorneys have joined the District Attorney’s Office. Matthew Finley, Caitlin Rice and Samantha Ryan were sworn in before the Honorable Mark L. Tunnell on Friday, Nov. 20.

Finley received his undergraduate degree from University of Kentucky and his law degree from William and Mary Law School. He previously was a prosecutor in Virginia.

Rice received her undergraduate degree from College of Charleston and her law degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. She is a former intern with the United States Attorney’s Office and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.

Ryan received her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Ryan started at the District Attorney’s Office as a staff member while she worked her way through law school, then worked as a legal intern and now is a full-time prosecutor.

“The District Attorney’s Office is fortunate to add these prosecutors,” said District Attorney Hogan. “They are bright, hard working and ethical. They will be a credit to the citizens of Chester County.”
