TVHS holds College Signing Day; four seniors commit to college on athletic scholarships

Twin Valley School District is pleased to announce that a College Signing Day was held on Nov. 12 for student athletes that committed to college on an athletic scholarship. Congratulations to the following Twin Valley seniors: AJ Alexy, RJ Wren, Kelee Lepage and Kendra Jones.

AJ Alexy will be attending Radford University next year to play baseball. Some of AJ’s accomplishments include being a four year Varsity starter for the Twin Valley Baseball team, participating with the Big 26 baseball team and being an Honor Roll player during sophomore year.

RJ Wren will be attending the University of Delaware to play golf. RJ finished seventh in the PIAA State Championships AAA in 2015. He is a two time PIAA State Qualifier, a two time Regional Qualifier, a three time District Qualifier, a four time Berks County top five finisher, a four time All County Team member and a two time Philly PGA Player of the Year.

Kelee Lepage will be attending the University of Maryland to play field hockey. Kelee’s accomplishments include committing to the University of Maryland to play field hockey, playing on the U19 Junior National team for two years and being named Berks County Player of the Year for 2015. Kelly has made 100 career goals, is captain of the current high school team and is a Berks County leading scorer.

Kendra Jones will be attending Liberty University to play field hockey next year. Kendra received an honorable mention her sophomore year and the Coaches Award in 2015. Kendra played for the All-County and All-State 2nd team her junior year and has been a member of the 2015, 2013 and 2012 Berks County Championship team.
